Preserve What We Love.
Plan for What We Need.

I’m running for Williamson County Commissioner for District 3  to help ensure our schools stay strong, our growth remains responsible, and our roads and community spaces meet the needs of our future.

About Christina

Christina moved to Middle Tennessee in 1999 and as a resident of Williamson County for 16 of those years, she understands both the challenges and the opportunities that come with rapid growth. Her work has always centered on building strong, intentional systems and she believes county government should operate the same way: responsibly, thoughtfully, and always with the people it serves at the heart of every decision.

Christina is a social worker, community advocate, and government and nonprofit consultant dedicated to strengthening the systems that support children, families, and the professionals who serve them. She uses team-based approaches to leverage the experiences and knowledge at all levels of an organization toward facilitating change. Across her career, Christina has become known for her collaborative leadership style, her ability to bring diverse stakeholders together, and her deep commitment to transparency, accountability, and community wellbeing.

Christina’s career includes 20 years of service with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, and she teaches social policy as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee School of Social Work.  In the later part of her career, she has helped child welfare organizations across the country improve decision‑making, enhance outcomes, and build more effective practices to create communities where every child is safe and every family can thrive.

Christina is running for County Commissioner for District 3 with a commitment to ensuring that Williamson County remains a place where families feel supported, children receive an excellent education, and communities grow with purpose.

Responsible Growth

Christina believes that our community deserves a chance to thrive. Williamson County is growing rapidly, and growth brings opportunity. But if it’s not managed well, it increases traffic, strains utilities, and threatens our rural character. We need development that works for residents, not at their expense. Her initiatives focus enhancing infrastructure while balancing growth that preserves the county’s character, and natural beauty.

Education

Our schools are the heart of Williamson County. Families move here because they know their children will receive an exceptional education, and it’s our responsibility to protect and strengthen that reputation. A champion for children, Christina supports funding for public schools and programs that aim to provide every children with the best opportunities for success and growth.  Every educator in every classroom must have the resources they need to meet the unique and individualized needs of every child.

Fiscal Accountability

We must focus on needs over wants. That means prioritizing essential services such as schools, public safety, infrastructure while avoiding unnecessary spending. We can prepare for future needs without creating sudden, burdensome tax hikes. A strong financial strategy must balance today’s responsibilities with tomorrow’s growth. Williamson County families deserve stability and honesty. I support clear, transparent budgeting so families know where their tax dollars go — and why.

Preserving
Our Hosptial

Williamson Health plays an essential role in the wellbeing of our community, providing emergency services, specialty care, and critical support during storms, crises, and periods of high demand. As conversations continue about the possibility of selling the system to a for‑profit healthcare corporation, many residents worry about the long‑term impact on access, affordability, and the quality of patient care. Protecting a locally governed, community‑rooted hospital helps ensure that medical decisions remain focused on people, not profit, while preserving the jobs, expertise, and stability that Williamson Health contributes to the county. As our population grows, thoughtful planning and transparent decision‑making will be needed to ensure that high‑quality care remains accessible close to home.

Affordability &
Quality of Life

Williamson County’s rapid growth has brought rising housing prices, increasing transportation costs, and growing pressure on public infrastructure, making affordability a challenge for many families. Ensuring a balanced approach to development helps preserve the ability of teachers, healthcare workers, first responders, young adults, and long‑time residents to continue living in the communities they serve. A healthy mix of housing options supports opportunities for people across income levels while maintaining the character, safety, and connectedness that residents value. By aligning growth with infrastructure and community needs, we can protect the county’s renowned quality of life for everyone who calls it home.

Clean Water &
River Protection

The Duck and Harpeth Rivers are vital natural resources, supplying drinking water, supporting wildlife, and offering recreational space enjoyed by families throughout the county. With continued development and population growth, protecting these waterways requires careful attention to stormwater management, wastewater capacity, erosion control, and the cumulative impact of land use decisions. Clean water safeguards public health, preserves ecosystems, and ensures that future generations can enjoy safe, healthy rivers for fishing, paddling, and community life. Through responsible planning grounded in environmental science and community values, Williamson County can continue to grow while maintaining the water quality and natural beauty that define our region.
